Well, I will certainly give your political opinions the gravity they deserve.

The fact that not only the majority of Americans but the WORLD is celebrating this only proves that point. It is just like any other election...you obviously are going to be upset if your person loses, but the reasons should be purely political so stop throwing race into things and start moving on.
You are correct, it is an historical moment. The world is celebrating, they have been jealous of the US for years, and trying to bring us down, and now they see their chance.

To say that the media decided the outcome of our election is BS. America decided the outcome and America is ready for change. Barak Obama was not chosen because he was a Black Man, he was chosen because he is THE BEST MAN. Now honestly, do you think his whites supporters voted for him because history was being made? Probably not, they voted for him because they were ready for something new. If they (meaning his white supporters) did not feel he was qualified for the job they would have cared less about history being made. Yes, many African Americans voted for him because he was black but every black person in the US could have come out and voted for him and he still would not have won without the white votes.

If you’re looking for someone to blame then blame your current President, George W. He’s the reason several RED states turned BLUE. Also, you may want to take a look at your candidate’s choice for a running mate. If his decision to choose Sarah P. has anything to do with his decision making skills then we would have been in BAD shape if he was elected. He took his defeat graciously and I think you all should do the same.

Oh oh but wait…. You all don’t whine or blame anyone for anything. That’s only for black people. Sorry, what in the world was I thinking.

To those of you that supported Obama/Biden “YES WE DID”… I hope to see you at the Inauguration Parade.

The question that does need to be asked now is, "where have all these people been in the past and how do they plan to continue this new found patriotism in the future?" It will be interesting to SEE (not just hear, but SEE) the answer.
