Just heard that the inauguration is going to cost $150 million to Bush's $40 mil in 2005. That's only $.03 per person if estimates of the crowd are correct...

With all the extra criminal activity that is going to happen, the cost is going to be over $150 million. With that amount of people in DC, Police will be helpless. They might as well go back to the station and sit until it's over. Robberies will increase, drug related activity, riots, etc.

You know darn well if there are ANY problems right before, during & even after that inauguration - anything goes wrong - derelicts are arrested for public disruptions, fights over the parade route because someone can't get a glimpse of Obama's car bumper, old people fall out due to the cold, port-a-potties overflow, people can't get to port-a-potties on time, not to mention ANY crime committed by any of the 1-5 million people expected - it's going to be BUSH's FAULT. Dubya didn't have enough security, Dubya didn't have enough room on the mall, Dubya didn't have enough free hot chocolate to warm the masses, OH, and if it happens to snow a blizzard that day - it'll be his fault, too.

Just like Katrina was. This way, he's just covering his bases. :
