Letting a terrorist go?

AP IMPACT: Freedom looms for terrorist - Yahoo! News

"AP IMPACT: Freedom looms for terrorist
By ADAM GOLDMAN and RANDY HERSCHAFT, Associated Press Writers Adam Goldman And Randy Herschaft, Associated Press Writers – 2 hrs 46 mins ago

NEW YORK – In 1973, a young terrorist named Khalid Duhham Al-Jawary entered the United States and quickly began plotting an audacious attack in New York City.
He built three powerful bombs — bombs powerful enough to kill, maim and destroy — and put them in rental cars scattered around town, near Israeli targets.
The plot failed. The explosive devices did not detonate, and Al-Jawary fled the country, escaping prosecution for nearly two decades — until he was convicted of terrorism charges in Brooklyn and sentenced to 30 years in federal penitentiary.
But his time is up.
In less than a month, the 63-year-old Al-Jawary is expected to be released. He will likely be deported; where to is anybody's guess. The shadowy figure had so many aliases it's almost impossible to know which country is his true homeland. " (see link above for rest of the article).

Why are we letting this guy go?

WE aren't letting anyone go. I didn't vote for him. Only those who voted for the Obamination are guilty of releasing those terrorists. When they hit this country again, what will the Obamination do? What would any liberal do after spitting in the faces of our military? Give into their lifestyle, make America into what they are and sell us out JUST AS HE HAS DONE 5 TIMES IN HIS FIRST 3 DAYS with those executive orders!!!

Because he served his time. What grounds would you use to keep him locked up?

Indeed. We should indeed release him. A couple hunderd miles south of the Azores would be just about right.

I bet that he doesn't make it very far after his release...

Ok, I didn't read the article and was thrown off by the blatant lie that "his time is up". He was sentenced to 30 years in 1993. So, he should be in prison for another 14 years. End of story.

Where do you think they are released? Didn't you hear the news yesterday? A few of those released back to their country are right back in their old jobs with Al Qauida and guess what they're talking about doing?
1) Becoming Americans?
2) Telling the world how nice we were to them?
3) Plotting their dirty/nuclear bomb strategy?
Great job Barak-al-haji-hussein-hadeem-sotero!

They were tried and acquitted.

But y'all already tried suspending habeas corpus.

IMHO, Bush and Obama are both morons and have many similar traits so "who" did it really doesn't matter does it? Yes Bush kept us safe over here but didn't he try (then succeeded) to give Arabs control of some of our ports? (Dubai) sp? So he's not much better than the current empty suit.

I wasn't sure if they said 2 or 3 so I said a few. Yes, the video is what I saw yesterday. Ain't it great?

So? Bush is just as quick to give this country away as Obama is. On a scale of 1-5, (1 being liberal and 5 being conservative) Obama is a 1 and Bush is a 2. And a POW is a POW until the war ends. When did we start saying they are innocent (acquitted) while the war is still going on?
