Geithner names ex-lobbyist as Treasury chief of staff

Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner picked a former Goldman Sachs lobbyist as a top aide Tuesday, the same day he announced rules aimed at reducing the role of lobbyists in agency decisions.

Mark Patterson will serve as Geithner's chief of staff at Treasury, which oversees the government's $700 billion financial bailout program. Goldman Sachs received $10 billion of that money.

I presume Geithner believes as Obama - limit the influence of lobbyists by putting them all in government.

Him being a lobbyist isn't what really gets to me though. He was found guilty of tax evasion and now is the HEAD OF THE TREASURY. WTF are these knuckleheads thinking??? What did Odrama say...we are the greatest nation, blah blah blah, help me to change that. And boy he is for the worse

He wasn't "found guilty," since there has been no trial.
He just didn't bother to pay his taxes until he was nominated for the position.
