Obamateurism of the Day

Quote:
This is a clip from a few days ago, and in this case, it’s not so much what he says as the obvious fact that he got lost on his Teleprompter while saying it. Watch President Obama look nervously left and right trying to find the thread of his remarks, and drop into the Department of Redundancy Department when he does:

"There are those who say that the plans in this budget are too ambitious to enact. To say that, uh … they say uh, in the face of challenges, uh, that we face, we should be trying to do less than more."
In the face of challenges that we face? It’s facing those challenging challenges that really challenge us to our face.

Got an Obamateurism of the Day? If you see a foul-up by Barack Obama, e-mail it to me at obamaisms@edmorrissey.com with the quote and the link to the Obamateurism. I’ll post the best Obamateurisms on a daily basis, depending on how many I receive.

just wait till the teleprompter writers start to get bored and create a game of it.
Lets see who can get obama to say the silliest things.

if they use big words, he will never understand what he is saying.

Nobama usually speaks in Orwellian doublespeak anyhow. It's gotten to the point where I ignore what he says and am analyzing his actions (or inaction).

This seems to remind me of a Paul Shanklin routine on one of his later disks, I think the one before his latest. He had the Taco Bell Chihuahua as Spanish language speech writer for Algore. He had Algore telling his story, said, "as you can see he doesn't know what he is saying...we met at Taco Bell...Can't listen to Rush anymore". Ends telling them to applaud and he will stop talking. Basically, Algore spoke the interpreters words with no knowledge.
