great, now the magic one can dictate what the American public will drive.

notice that the article points to the fact that the rising price of fuel is a major factor in the failure of the auto industry.
Notice also that Hitler 2 reversed our ability to drill and supply our own oil, raising fuel prices once again.

Am I the only one that sees that the government is trying to break the citizens?

That leaves me breathless. What next for this #######?

Which is not to say this clown shouldn't step down - he should have been canned a long time ago for mismanagement. But for the president to demand it is really too much.

Now our government is in the auto manufacturing business. Whoda thunk?

Exactly, Vrai, Ive been constantly amazed at what passes for decision making in Detroit. Fire them all. But that choice should NOT be one made by the White House.

This time last year I was bytching about having a tire pressure indicator mandated by the feds.
