*I* did not vote for either John McCain or Barack Obama in the primary. They were handed to me by the masses and I had to make a choice between the two of them. NEITHER of whom was chosen by me in the first place.

Where do you intend to round up these "leaders" who will deliver us all from suffering??? And how do you intend to get the majority of the people to vote for them, in the Senate, the House and the White House?? How will you, Larry Gude, Master of the Universe, get people in San Francisco to vote out Nancy Pelosi? How will YOU get the people of Nevada to vote out Harry Reid?? How will YOU get 5th district, southern Maryland, to vote out Steny Hoyer???

I'm not insulting you. I am agreeing with you; you are correct, there are all sorts of people who simply don't care. You say it time and time again; they're sheeple, Paulian ideas (personal responsibility, follow the constitution) are loony and won't work.

What I am asking is, given that you think people are, by and large, stupid and irresponsible and ideas that put them in the position of having to be more responsible are pipe dreams and won't work, why don't you just support those who agree with you and support more controls over the herd?

I think that is a very likely possibility, very similar to what happen to Russia after the Cold War. Of course, I hope it does not happen. I hope the U.S. survives as the U.S. that is recognizable as the U.S. most of us grew up in.
