It means if he has cash in his freezer, an intern under his desk or is caught in a sting smoking crack, Republican voters can reliably kick his butt out. They will NOT re-elect him or sanctimoniously recuse his actions. It's ridiculous that the Democrats can rely on groups of people who will vote for them no matter who they put up, or what issues they espouse.

It's worse than this (and this is for Larry too)... It's about exploitation. When a candidate can make a simply slip of the tongue, like Mucaca, and the media exploit it to the Nth degree convincing voters, from that one instant in time, that candidate is not worthy you have a completely different dynamic other than just the GOP purging their own. And this is what the media did with the war. Once the seeds of negativity were planted, policy was changed and we started to lose.

When a candidate's family (Sarah Palin) is scrutinized at every turn because she was deeded a bad mother and another (Obama) is ignored (his blantant connections with Chicago corruption) there is a clear molding of peoples' minds.
