The Humane Society’s real champion - Rush

Quote:
The wait for the President’s new puppy ends today, but the fallout from his broken promise to the Humane Society should not. And, exclusive to this website, it now develops that Rush Limbaugh has recorded PSAs for the Humane Society — guaranteeing that the controversy over the First Pup will not end.

By way of background: During the campaign, Obama said that his family would adopt a dog from a shelter if he won the election. This weekend, news broke that the new First Dog is not a shelter-animal, sparking criticism from animal-rights activists, including the Humane Society. As ABC’s Jake Tapper reports:
“Animal rights activists are chagrined with his decision. Wayne Pacelle, president and CEO Humane Society of the United States … was clearly disappointed, noting that families ‘like the Obamas, who are interested in a particular breed of animal or have special circumstances such as allergies in their household, can turn to their local animal shelter or breed rescue group.’”
Now comes a yet-to-be-released PSA from the Humane Society recorded by Rush Limbaugh last week (before the First Dog’s identity was publicly known) and leaked onto YouTube yesterday (and sent to me today by a source close to the Humane Society).

I think when history looks back on Obama this issue will prove to be the turning point, the begin of the downside of his administration. Not the budget, not the stimulus, not the DVD gift to Gordon Brown..........it will be the day he royally pizzed off the animal nutties.

I think that like NOW turning a blind eye to Clinton and rape and sexually harassing women, especially those who worked for him, Obama will get a pass.

Animal nutty here... I don't much care where the Prez got his puppy. What is interesting is the look on Ms. Obama's face as that puppy dragged her across the White House lawn. This is the dog's FIFTH home in three months. The breed is know for it's "activity level" and being headstrong. Supposedly the dog was trained by Ted Kennedy's dogs' trainer. This should be fun to watch...

You can count on USSS and Marine Guards policing the White House lawn for "land mines" and "exercising" the mutt.

But the good news is that NOW isn't nearly the influential organization it was prior to that. The new breed of feminists roundly reject NOW, while still having a fondness toward Clinton. So it's funny how that works.

Now see, that's a good point. Now that you mention it, they sure seemed to have paid a price for that, didn't they? A rather much marginalized and reduced group, aren't they? Good point!

See? Good things do happen!

A line I heard on WMAL's "Grandy & Andy" this morning: "There is a picture of the President taking Bo, (the dog) out on the White House Lawn. in the Washington Post. Bo will be doing the same thing on the south lawn that BO (The Prez) is doing to the country."

They gave me a chuckle while sitting in the morning version of the Waldorf 500...
