Is not the budget Obama proposed and is ramming through congress not larger than Bush's?

Did Obama not say he was going to eliminate earmarks?

Is not the budget he created and proposed have over 19,000 earmarks?

He hasn't? I thought he submitted a budget proposal.

And how much of Mr. Bush's crisis is Obama inheriting? I've seen you righties say President Clinton gets 100% of the blame for 9-11 and that it was a crisis Bush inherited (which, yes, Bush inherited that). At the same since, the economic snafu is an inherited crisis.
GWB was not in the intelligence business prior to becoming president. Obama was in the budget business, and voted for the major spending issues.

Also, I'm not talking about the current budget (read the links to the CBO), I'm talking about the budget proposal Obama made (he really did make one).

I suspect you're wrong, but you're still not addressing the issue.

Is the spending wrong? If so, why attack people saying it's wrong.
If you think it's okay, then you make sense. If not, you don't.

That's non sense. The vast majority of the 'stimulus' dollars won't be spent this year or next and are being spent on what can only be termed campaign thank you pork. To the victor goes the spoils.

It was wrong to bail out the banks and insurers. It was wrong to bail out the auto folks. All of those spending plans short circuited what those companies need to do; make tough choices.

Obama is making speech after speech about how things are tough but that we, families, still need to spend. Well, that's just not correct. Families needed to have saved in order to get through lean times. It makes no sense to go out and buy lots of stuff when you aren't real confident about your job and your near term future.

Those doubts would have long been replaced by certainty had all these companies been left to make the difficult choices necessary to straighten out their business'. Those doubts would have long been erased had the government focused on the one thing it can do; fix and improve federal regulations that played a role in this mess.

None of this has happened. Bush and now Obama are just postponing what needs to be done and putting the bill on the national credit card. Federal spending should stay flat this year and the next 3 until the nation starts to crawl out of this.

Bush made mistakes. Obama is making more of them, far more.

Hopefully with the tea party's America will wake up and realise that "third party" is the only way to make real change.

Seems Pres. Obama doesn't keep himself informed of the news - kinda like when Bush said he didn't read many papers. I wonder if they'll remember the derisive comments about Bush on that?
