'teabaggers'

The whole idea of the tea parties is a joke... people who have supported wasteful spending and government expansion for the past 8 years going out and throwing a fit about it now that someone from the opposite party is in office. Even funnier is that Obama hasn't even begun to pursue his "liberal" ideas. Just wait until he does.

Now they call themselves 'teabaggers' What a joke

Says you. I've always been against that.

I'm glad someone has come up with the idea for once.

If the Republicans regain control of Washington, they'll go back to the same stuff and most of this forum won't give a damn.

They're anti-Democrat. Us vs. them. They don't denounce their own, they just blame the Democrats and shoot the messenger.

Watch.

It's even funnier that people like you don't address the issue, but address the people addressing the issue instead.

Yes they do. You need to go back and read some threads. You have almost as short a memory as Democrats who think people were NICE to Bush.

But comparitively speaking, if I give 1000 of my bucks to one guy and he pizzes away 400 bucks of it, and I give it to another guy and HE pizzes away 3000 bucks of it - sorry, but I'm madder at the second guy.

Especially if he promised not to do that.

There are people who spoke up against Bush's wasteful spending plenty of times. 'Conservatives' mocked them, labeled them "angry bitter leftists" and continued their porkfest until the Dems took over. Now, those conservatives are whining about wasteful spending.

Do you fail to see the hypocrisy?

Did that "wasteful spending" happen to be primarily funding the military to conduct a war or two?

No, but why complain about the hypocrisy instead of the problem of the spending? Why are you calling the people using their Constitutional right of free public speech and public gathering names and laughing at your perception of the hypocrisy instead of addressing (with them, agreeing with them) on the issue? Does it somehow make their argument wrong if they weren't as strong of voice in the past as we'd like them to have been?

So you're only mad at one person? Interesting.

Obama hasn't been in office long enough to make cuts to the deficit. And he hasn't "spent more than Bush and every other president combined."

He might... but he hasn't. And I can point you to the threads where neocons are whining about proposed Obama Budget Cuts. They're opposed to big spending. But cut excess spending to something that affects them, and they blow a gasket.
