MSNBC Mike Barnacle on the TEA crazies...

He thinks this DHS warning business is serious and that the kid in Pittsburgh who murdered cops last week is the classic lone wolf, right wing crazy that DHS is worrying about. He asked his guest about it and I about came out of my chair.

She could not get her act together and turn it around on him and ask him just what the story is with the guy in Oakland last month who murdered some cops AND GOT A PUBLIC RALLY IN HIS SUPPORT.

There were no demonstrations in support of this loon in Pittsburgh.




Is there no one that can THINK on their feet? Are we ALL wired into teleprompters and pre planned talking points?

You still think the media is not driving this? Did you take a look at the youtubes of Olbermann's show and the CNN reporter who was "victimized" by some "teabag crazies"?

Their tactic is clear here, MSNBC, CNN, the NYT and now the Executive branch of the federal government, all in lock step....conservatives are not only crazy and stupid but they are dangerous to the point they need to issue warnings about them being potential domestic terrorists.

I've NEVER said that. On the contrary, I've said, time and time again that they are guaranteed opponents of the right and that that is a given, a fact of life. This would have been a PERFECT time to fight back and score a knock out. Imagine if she'd have said that to him! Or even something close. Good lord, it's not like there aren't enough examples.

Just look at what Pelosi said yesterday! ALL of them - from the media to the Democrat leadership AND the White House (claiming to have not heard about nor know anything about the tea party movement)!

They have totally forgotten who put them in those offices! Nancy Pelosi was so arrogant and snide yesterday I swear to God she had venom dripping from her fangs.

They diminish this grass roots movement at their own peril. I really don't think mainstream Americans will be taking this crap much longer.

I didn't see the show, so I don't know who MSNBC had as their "conservative" commentator representing that view. Maybe she's just not the type to be quick on her feet, etc. Who was she?

But the people in the US ARE getting mad as hell. So who cares if one conservative can't stand up to Mike Barnacle. Did you write, email or call the show to express your feelings about it? (just curious)

I can't remember her name. I've seen her before and she's pretty good. It was just one of those "Say this!" moments.

I've been mad about this for years.

It's not that she didn't stand up to him per se, she just coulda really nailed him and made the point writ large. You, me, most sane people are sickened at what happened in Pittsburgh, the murder of cops. However, no one went marching in support of this guy yet people like Barnacle seem to think we do support people like that. Yet, the guy in Oakland who also murdered cops, well THAT guy got a parade! And what does Barnacle say about that? You tell me what is worse. Far worse.

If they thought this gal would answer back, they wouldn't have booked her on the show. That's the simple truth. Only O'Reilly seems to enjoy a solid debate - the rest either invite only yes-men or they get someone who won't be too strong in their opposition. They have a message they want to get out, and having someone contradict them on the air will detract from that.

Why is this so hard to understand?

I can't find her name! She's not bad and she is a conservative. I'm just saying that it would have been a GREAT comeback.
