GOP rep who voted for TARP booed at tea party

Quote:
Emphasis on mercilessly, especially when he says, “I have devoted my life to the conservative cause.” The Palmetto Scoop caught it all, and no wonder: Barrett’s been eating crap from South Carolinians for his TARP vote for months so everyone knew what was coming here, right down to the guy screaming “Go home!” for the full six-minute duration. Believe it or not, according to CNN, Barrett’s planning to run for governor next year. Don’t get your hopes up, Gresh.
Normally the sight of a Republican being booed off a stage would be instant “Daily Show” material, but Stewart’s naturally got his own narrative for the tea parties. They’re about Obama, Obama, and nothing but Obama. Just ask Cody Willard.

I don't believe it. CNN told me that the tea parties were partisan anti-Obama events. They wouldn't lie to me, would they?

It's too bad Cody Willard can be held up as a shining example of unbiased reportage on FOX. Cody is obviously a very recent product of an American public school education. Rather than get it right, he buys the progressive/liberal /Democrat definition for Fascism as "Big business and Government getting into bed together." Fascism is the opposite of Big Business and Government getting into bed together. It is Big labor and Government getting into bed together to nationalize Big Business.

The stupid "AndyMarquisLive" wannabe gives journalism a bad name.

Be kinda interesting to see if we start judging people by what they do instead of what they say.

Imagine that if, after making George Bush the focus of their anger and motivation and derision for over 4 years, the left is confronted with the reality that the right is just as angry over his policies for the equal, yet very opposite reasons.

Imagine if the next time an Obamite says "We're not socialists and George Bush did it first..." the right winger responds "And he was wrong, too!"

Huh. We may be actually making progress here.
