lets look at the middle east like it was the U.S in the 1800s.
There is a land grab going on, sooner or later someone is going to end up with the ownership.
Now, just like the U.S, a lot of wars, a whole bunch of dead indians later and we become the proud owners of all the land from sea to shining sea. From that came a country that turned into a world leader in compassion, technology and wealth. Where would we be today if we were still getting pushed back because the indians talked France into backing them and keeping us at arms length?

I say let it go, sit back and prepare to have a dinner party with the new leader of the new country that forms under the dust.

the world gave us our chance, dont we owe at least the same to others in return?

besides think of the school children here in our country, would it not be easier to remember one country name for that area than it is to remember however many plague that sand pit currently?
