so...

So all of this is the result of "the media"?

Damn those "media" folks, they say something and everyone follows along and suddenly realize what they were saying isn't true because a blog told them it isn't so.

I get tired when everything that is wrong is the result of "the media."
You know what, there are folks with an IQ above 10 that can make their own decision when they watch "the media" or hear "the media" or read "the media."

By the way, is "the media" Foxnews or is it the Wall Street Journal or is it WABC in New York or is the Christian Science Monitor? And does "the media" get together every morning and discuss what policy they are going to tear about or support?

One might conclude that when "the media" is blamed ("the media" is singular in this instance) it is nothing more than an excuse for avoiding simple reflective analytical thought about a particular issue.

S'cuse me, "the media" is telling me there's "breaking news." I gotta split.

I don't know, I was working so I didn't go to the tea parties and I've made it a point not to turn on cable news anymore since all it does is piss me off.

I continue to vote for them because they don't have a D next to their name.

Is what the result of the media?

No, actually knowing what's going on tells people it's not true. But, only tens of thousands of people attended the Tea Parties out of millions who heard of them. And, the millions who heard of them only know of them because of the media.

To what do they compare their information? Granted, many people are smart, but they have to have a source of information.

In your first few sentences, you imply that claiming the media has biased reporting is not valid, and then claim that people are smart enough to know better, and then imply that getting information from sources OTHER than the media is wrong by decrying "blogs" for providing another source.

So, where do people get their information from?

Yes, and what percent of the media are they? What percent of the media provides relatively balanced, unbiased news reporting?

Many do, yes.

Are you arguing against something in specific, besides the phrase, or just being argumentative for idioticness' sake?

Even if they are the exact same thing as the Democrats are?

Although that's what I figured it was.

Hopefully the parties will continue.
each time there has been one, more people show up. Not just the republicans, or conservatives, but more and more Democrats are starting to take part.
obama opens his mouth, 100 more people are seen at the party.

If you think about it, the o just might be the best thing to happen to this country. We as citizens had become complacent and over the years have been conditioned to just accept anything that the government says without question.
Now the o is screwing up so much more than anyone could ever have guessed,, (well, more than libs, the conservatives sorta warned about this) the people have been pushed to the point of realizing that the time to take back our government is now. not in four years, not in 8 years, but now, this very minute.

The tea parties are just the start, I believe that more and more groups consisting of the rich, poor, liberal and conservative are going to form to fight for a common goal.
