| There is a not very flattering photograph of the First Lady sitting in an upholstered chair with her legs crossed. She is too tall to sit with her legs crossed in front of her like that. Paging Tish Baldridge!!

You guys are seeing the rotten trees amongst the majestic forest. We are far bigger and far grander than one person. Keep that in mind, folks. ![]()

I liked the pictures of the girls, and a few of the White House events, a few of the private moments on Obama alone were nice photos. But when those same types of pictures were shown of Bush or Reagan - they were lambasted for being something or other.

AND, further, commenting that our First Lady should pay attention to how she looks sitting in a chair is not petty. She is, after all, representing our country when she is visiting foreign countries. It was not very ladylike to sit there with her legs crossed that way, slouching in a chair, one shoe practically dangling from a foot. Maybe it doesn't matter when she's having guests in the private residence and is not being photographed. And good, great, fantastic that we have a younger First Couple, who are "relaxed", "laid back", "not stuffy" but for cripes' sake, she needs to have some decorum. Good Gawd.
