| I think I misread some things, We need a conservative in 2012, and Liz Cheney seems like a true Conservative. The Republican party has become a shell of what it was, or could/should have been. It's always funny to watch Liberals get all flustered and shook up when Conservatives put down something they have no good reasons against. Liz is keeping her cool there despite the reporter getting loud and trying to talk over her. I'd have been yelling at that reporter. |

No more Clintons, Bushes Cheneys or bamas. I think we saw with Bush what can happen when Jr tries to finish what dad didnt. No more royal families.

Anyway, I doubt Liz has presidential aspirations. I've never read of any, at least. But it is certainly refreshing to see a true conservative like her speaking out and getting a chance to speak out. That's the kind of hope & change I've been looking for. ![]()

| ... | With one of the major points that the repblicans brought out during the campaign being, obama has no experience, How can running someone with no experience be considered a good idea? Did the no experience thing really not make a difference? Maybe for many it was the black thing. If Cheney is the only conservative left that can be found to bring any hope, then I would have to suggest that the core values of the party are certainly gone, and there is no chance of bringing them back. There has to be at least one individual somewhere in this country that has their feet well soaked inside the beltway, and is eligible to run for the office. just has to be. This no experience thing is already failing for the current acting president, lets not make that mistake again. And to Larry's earlier question regarding who I would vote for. Lets hope that that choice does not have to be made, it would turn from a vote of who I would think could actually do the job, and a vote of we cant take obama anymore as a nation, and anything is better.

| Prone to hyperinactivity | One silver lining; there should be no more Oblahmas after this one - unless Michelle does like Hilary and tries to make her own way.

Liz Cheney is an attorney. Obama is an attorney. Liz worked for the State Dept. for 5 years before going to Law School. Obama worked for IBM, & Public Interest Research Group. (? whatever that is) Liz has also served in various positions at the State Department pertaining to her background in Near Eastern Affairs. Most recently, Mitt Romney had hired her as his senior foreign policy advisor. Of course, we all know about the community organizing, state senator & US Senator jobs of Obama. It's a better resume than the current President. But as I said, I'm not even sure Liz Cheney has any political office aspirations. But if she does - she's got more company than the Bushes Who's Your Daddy - The Hauenstein Center for Presidential Studies - Grand Valley State University
