If Lynn Cheney is a 'stupid choice' then the GOP is done as a party and you may as well start voting Dem because that's all your gonna get if that's where we're at; RINO's.

no, if she were to actually run, agian with no credentials to show any ability to do the job, I would have to go third party.
the RNC might as well just go ahead and tell the o to keep it for another four years, save their money and see if they can find someone with at least part of their brain that still functions to run.

I beg your pardon. What kind of credentials are we looking for?

LIZ Cheney has a strong conservative backround. (not to be confused with her mother, LYNNE Cheney, who is a scholar & has an extensive conservative background in her own right) She's never been a politician, perhaps, but so what? I hear people always saying we want someone who is NOT a career politician. The woman has a very impressive background, especially for being only 42 years old.

She may have not a whit of interest in running anyway, and I admit, I only wrote that title in there as a way to attract interest in the thread. But she is certainly as strong a conservative as any other I've seen. And she's not afraid to speak up for herself, or her positions, AND seems quite capable of holding her own while doing so. She's no shrinking violet.

Her involvement with both Fred Thompson's campaign and then when he dropped out, Mitt Romney's campaigns is partly responsible for why I was backing those 2 before they dropped out of the last presidential race.

I just wanted to make sure everyone realized it was Lynn & Dick Cheney's daughter, so they can start to take a look at who she is. She's very impressive.
