I agree with you, Larry. The people who work in social service drug treatment programs thanks him too, because offenders are often sent to them in lieu of (or in addition to) going to jail. Plus, it is the same social service drug treatment programs that try very hard to convince the public that marijuana is addictive. Well, I "know someone very close to me" that hasn't smoked marijuana in years, but when he did smoke it, he never had difficulty walking away from it for months at a time. Cigarettes, on the other hand, was by far the most difficult habit he ever kicked. Nowadays, he doesn't smoke marijuana or tobacco, but he could care less if responsible ADULTS do so.

I do as well, my buddy would smoke a O in 3-4 weeks (he would buy an O rather that having to chase down a 1/4 every week), had no problem holding a regular job, working 40 hrs, it was his way to relax after a long workday .... of course in those days he could also but down a case of Bud a night as well .... but when he got back in the Gobberment he put all that aside ... and is counting the days to his retirement ....

I was always like whatever dude, that is not for me ........


I beleive it is more of a personality thing ... some are more susceptible to addiction than others ... like Alcoholism
