MSNBC, CNN Ratings Plunge as O'Reilly Reigns

"MSNBC and CNN’s primetime news programs have suffered an incredible nosedive in ratings since Barack Obama was elected president, Newsmax has learned.

Ratings for “Countdown With Keith Olbermann” on MSNBC at 8 p.m. have plunged a dizzying 42 percent since October, shortly before the election. CNN’s 8 p.m. show, now being hosted by Roland Martin, has seen a 49 percent plunge over that time period, while “The O’Reilly Factor” on Fox News has dipped only 15 percent, according to Nielsen Media Research."

While I don't always agree with O'Reilly but I do always find his show entertaining. He gets such a bad rep from the libs that somehoe believe he is some ulktra-conservative.

I'll take hits from the non-watchers, but I think he is one of the fairest commentators on TV.

In reverse, I have watched the talented folks on MSNBC and CNN. Most of their show's hosts are downright arrogant or mildly annoying.

How can ratings drop 42% from 0.0?

Anyone who thinks O'Reilly is a right-winger obviously doesn't watch his show or know anything about him other than what DailyKos and other propagandists feed them.

The Fairness Factor: if you're watching a news talk show and all of the guests are taking the same position, that is a biased source. The only time they don't have opposing sides on O'Reilly is when they refuse his invitation.

I don't agree with O'Reilly a lot of times, but he does go after people for the truth.

I can't figure out why Roland Martin is doing so poorly ... I used to love watching him snatching largemouth out of weedbeds.

It's the show - he's a long-term fill in for Campbell Brown. No Bias, No Bull is an actual news program, not an hour of people yelling and screaming at each other. Americans can't have that.

Glenn Beck's been a huge draw for FOX News. FOX gave the righties what they wanted, and the righties are drinking it.

I can see why MSNBC's ratings are falling - ####ty coverage, ####ty presentation, ####ty anchors, ####ty primetime.

O'Reilly and Hannity are sane and rational compared to the whackjob they have on at 5.
