Changing the punishment for rape affects something illegal, and rape could affect anyone. I'm pretty sure you'll never be forcibly married to a gay man.

how about this - What if we redefined charities to exclude things like women's shelters, and Goodwill stores, etc? Hey, a hotel is a hotel, and a store is a store, right? It's not redefining it, it's simply being more inclusive to what a hotel is, what a store is..... would you recognize that a change of definition of the store (just like a change in the defintion of marriage) would change the overall meaning of the charitable organization?

Honestly, enough with the comparisons. I just don't see how allowing same-sex couples will affect the definition of marriage, other than changing the wording from "between and man and a woman (or whatever it actually says) to "between individuals". It won't affect me and my [future] husband. It's not like we won't really be married.

Not only did she get to speak her mind at the pageant, she has also spoken her mind in press conferences and television interviews just about everyday since. The Government has not punished her. The government has not jailed her. So, where has her "freedom of speech" been violated?

That's the problem. The lefty libs want freedom of speech but hate it when the righties don't agree with them. Perez proves this point. It's all part of that immaturity thing they have going on. As long as there are dumbazzes like Beave-Cleavage and NONNO spouting out their warped agenda, I will be around to let them know that there are plenty of people in our country who haven't lost their minds and still have morals, values and good judgement. (aka righties). You know, the people who are able to think for themselves instead of becoming zombies to the media and liberal agenda.

Whenever I am having a bad day, it always helps to sign onto SOMD.com and realize I don't have it so bad after all. Sure there are people who have it better but then there are plenty of people who weren't dealt much to work with in life(Beave, Nonno and alike).
