Use one of the presidents back up planes, sell million dollar tickets for low level passes over New York City on Scare Force One. Market as watching from a birds eye view of what makes thousands of New Yorkers run in terror!!!

1. Get rid of the BOE.
2. Get rid of the NEA.
3. Limit Welfare to 1 year.
4. Get rid of tax loop holes like the one that allows single moms to get back more $$ than they pay in.
5. 20% flat income tax across the board.
6. No money to non-profits.
7. No bailouts.

The simplest, easiest, most painless way to balance the federal budget is simply to FREEZE spending for about 10 years.

Not cut; Freeze.

Any new programs, any new spending, any pay raises, any penny over existing spending right now, would have to come from efficiencies or trimming or gutting other programs.

When spending goes up about 7% a year, as it did under Bush, that doubles every 10 years. Is the typical persons income going up 7% a year? No. That means the feds are finding ever more ways to get it from us.

Anyone doubt that efficiencies and savings couldn't be found to the tune of a couple % every year?

The larger problem is book keeping. We don't even really know what we spend or where it goes. Or what we've obligated ourselves to.

Why do we have an Air Force One??

What better way to show the American people and the World how safe airtravel is by having him fly on the same planes WE fly on.. he is, by the way, JUST a citizen.. he's not supposed to be royalty..

40 years ago, security on the plane MAY have been an issue but since we have the tightest security on our airlines than ever, I would think he would be safer there than if if he was giving a speech in a public forum.. or at the World Series, or Super Bowl.

One first class seat for the President, and 2 or three for his SS.. I mean Secret Service detail..
He wants to fly to Richmond, let him try to find a commercial flight carrier to take him there.

How much money could we save??

Pull ALL use of military aircraft from EVERYone in the government.. Nobody running home for the week-end on an Air Force plane on the taxpayers dime..

Right there, that would be the 100 Million a year savings Obama was looking for.

Encourage Dept.s to save money from yr to yr, instead of this massive spending spree in Aug / Sept because somebody has money left in their budget they sat on all yr "Just in Case" ....

How about we do his suggestion and just give them an A on their report card, then let them keep their job instead of being so generous with the taxpayers wallet?

yeah a friend works for NOAA Oceans and Coastal Research Div,

back when 50 Plama's were a new thing, his boss bought 6 @ the EoY, in an Orgy of spending, for the Conference Rooms, where there was no real need, other than someones GREED to spend Tax Payer money, swinging A big D1ck around showing off those 50 inch Plasmas ....
