Forget HR45 (the Blair Hold Firearms Act), if Obama gets his wish and this treaty is ratified, we effectively give up our sovereignty and Second Amendment rights.

I am surprised that CNN actually sounded pro-second amendment in their reporting.

Lou Dobbs is one of the few at CNN with any sense. He was one of the only ones that reported last year on the the Army vet from Wisconsin who got sent up on federal machine gun charges when his rifle malfunctioned and it fired two rounds at one time.

Ok, whether or not you are for or against gun control this should worry you.

What this can do is subject US Citizens to international court even if they never set foot out of the US.

Many on the left said we do not have the right to hold foreign citizens as enemy combatants on US soil without protections of our Constitution but somehow this will subject US citizens on US soil to international court.

The drug war in Mexico is the supposed reasoning for this (ie excuse), however Mexico was adamantly against the US enforcing its own laws against Mexican citizens on US soil however they want the US to enforce their law on US citizens in the US.

No matter which side of the fence you are on here pro-gun control or anti-gun control you should be against this. If you want gun control laws, attempt to get them as US federal laws, state laws, or local laws but do not subject US citizens to international laws that they probably never heard of.

The response time of a .44 magnum 240 gr bullet is 1542 ft/sec. I can't talk to liberals. Even if we both speak English, we don't speak the same language.
