LimpBag Blows Off GOP Rebranding Effort...........

"On Monday Rush Limbaugh became the most prominent in a series of conservative figures to push back against a new Republican re-branding effort launched by GOP luminaries over the weekend.

During his program, the brash radio personality whacked the National Council for a New America -- an effort undertaken by, among others, Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, John McCain, and Eric Cantor to repair the party's image after the '08 election -- saying that rather than a "listening tour," what the party needed was "a teaching tour."

"I'm weary of the same people who drove us to this point telling us what we have to do now. I'm not including Jeb in that. Jeb was not part of the campaign last year," said Limbaugh. "But everybody else on this bus tour -- for the most part -- is responsible for where we are. We did it their way in 2008. We did it with the candidate and approach that they thought would work. Pandering. 'We got to listen to the American people.' I maintain that when a politician says we have to listen to the American people and learn, we are pandering. We're not leading."

Also;

McCotter Rejects GOP Policy Group

"House Republican Policy Committee Chairman Thaddeus McCotter (Mich.) said on Friday that he chose not to join senior Republicans in establishing a new policy development group because he believes it could undermine House efforts to hone a stronger GOP identity.

Instead of potentially diluting their message by outsourcing its development to outside players, McCotter said, House Members should focus on engaging the Democratic majority as an “entrepreneurial insurgency” and continue to build their strength from within the Conference."

The GOOPERS can't seem to get on the same page. Sad, but true.

Rush is correct - the GOP needs to stop with the populist bullcrap and start getting back to their conservative roots.

So let's see: one minute Rush is the "voice" of the Republicans, and the next he's disagreeing with them. So...what? Nonno? Any comments on that?

Okay, so your post in an attempt to slam Rush backfired so you post this BS.

You are one seriously sad and desperate individual.

You mean there is no truth to the rumor?

The post isn't really about the Bag, it's about how the GOOPERS can't seem to come up with a "PLAN" that they can agree on. Why don't you send them your plan, God knows they need all the help they can get.

The GOP needs to fix its image one way or another. It's pretty obvious that a hardcore conservative like Limbaugh doesn't want the GOP to go soft.

Can anyone tell me why Jeb Bush didn't run? Was it because it was too close in the footsteps of his brother? He is so much better than his brother.

There's no truth in any rumor until it has facts to back it up. Then it is no longer a rumor; it's a fact.

Sadly enough you are right, and so is Rush on this. So call him a bag if you want, but he seems to be a bag you agree with; which is an oxymoron.

My plan would entail getting Newt back in the fore-front. He is the only one I see speaking with any real clarity about where the conservative movement needs to go.
