As for her being a woman of substance I suppose her job at the hospital for $300,000 a year proves that. By the way the hospital still hasnt found it necessary to replace her so it must have been an important job. Certainly a substantial job as long as Senator Obama was responsible for sending money to the hospital. Funny, no one finds it ethically worthy of investigation now that he sits on the throne in the Oval office.

As far as the general conversation goes, lampooning politicians has been done for centuries and is nothing new. Photoshopping or political cartooning is basically a graphic expression of discontent. Anyone involved in politics in any manner knows that this is part and parcel of being involved. Why waste time debating it? Take the time that you'd spend grousing about how "unfair" it is or how demeaning, etc., and put it to better use by getting involved in a local campaign for someone that you feel you can support.

This kind of stuff can be ignored. Actions are a little harder to beat.

In some sense I agree, unfortunately with the left being in charge of the House, Senate, White House there is a sense of a delusional superiority complex syndrome that the left feels they can sling sh*t without getting splash back. Sorry, I tend not to take sh*t and only give what I got!!!

I think these methods can be useful in illustrating to the other side how silly their own behavior is and has been. As soon as they begin to whine and point out the stupidity they can be asked, "So what makes it right when you do it?"

Nonetheless, the die-hards may never wake up. They will always, as you have pointed out, see conservative dissension and opposition as "attacking" their side, regardless how justified and benign that opposition may be.

To the original post, I think posting the Obama-chimp photos simply to insult is dumb, and may result in the negative effect desired. The One and his wife are not particularly attractive people either, as far as I'm concerned.
