Obama To Fire His First Gay Arabic Linguist

Quote:
Obama To Fire His First Gay Arabic Linguist

Dan Choi, a West Point graduate and officer in the Army National Guard who is fluent in Arabic and who returned recently from Iraq, received notice today that the military is about to fire him. Why? Because he came out of the closet as a gay man on national television.

Some readers might think it unfair to blame Obama. After all, the president inherited the "don't ask, don't tell" law when he took office. As Commander-in-Chief, he has to follow the law. If the law says that the military must fire any service member who acknowledges being gay, that is not Obama's fault.

Or is it?

I have got to ask, "Is it a coincidence that all they guys who come out of the closet are Arabic translators?" When I worked for the Secretary of Defense and "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" was being challenged monthly, most of the butt-rangers who came out just happened to be Arabic translators. It must have something to do with Monterrey, California water.

Thats exactly what I would do right now in this country.
I would fire people that actually spoke the language of the people we were fighting with. I see no reason that we should be able to communicate with them, or be able to interpret their conversations. Just blow them up. much easier.
