In January, Sandy Tsao, an army officer based out of St. Louis, MO, told her superiors that she is gay — a violation of the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell law. Tsao then wrote to President Obama, urging him to change the DADT policy: “I do hope, Mr. President, that you will help us to win the war against prejudice.” On May 5, Tsao received a handwritten letter from Obama with a pledge to repeal DADT at some point:

It cannot be done immediately because it takes Congressional action? Who is he ####ting? Congressional action was instantaneous on the stimulus bill. Congressional action was instantaneous on the bailouts. Congressional action is even more guaranteed with the addition of the socialist from Minnesota.

"An excerpt from her original letter in January reads:

Today is Chinese New Year day. I hope it will bring good fortune to you and your newly elected office. Today is also the day I inform my chain of command of who I am. One of the seven army values is integrity. It means choosing to do the right thing no matter what the consequences may be. As a Christian, this also means living an honest life.

In closing, she wrote:

We have the best military in the world and I would like to continue to be part of it. My mother can tell you it is my dream to serve our country. I have fought and overcome many barriers to arrive at the point I am at today. This is the only battle I fear I may lose. Even if it is too late for me, I do hope, Mr. President, that you will help us to win the war against prejudice so that future generations will continue to work together and fight for our freedoms regardless of race, color, gender, religion, national origin or sexual orientation."

Translation: the butter-bar found out she'd have to do actual work, so she decided to get out of the military by "coming out (guarantee, she'll be married to a man and having babies within 5 years)." She's hoping to get an honorable out of the deal at some point...probably promised to her by GLAAD or whomever talked her into this in the first place. "Oh, yeah, honey! It's a new age! Obammy will make changes, you'll get an honorable, probably even a GCM!"

If she wanted to serve so bad that she should not have said anything. Instead she wanted to stir up a whole bunch of sh*t that did not need be done. She really wants to serve our country doesnt she.

Sounds like it was more important for her to serve her own agenda!!! No one gives a sh*t about a persons sexual preference. But Nooooooooooo people have to know, so you got to go!!!

You're absolutely right. I don't buy what she's trying to sell - to "do the right thing" nor that she's a Christian who wants to live an honest life. She could've done both without informing her chain of command.

Did she go to the Point? ROTC scholarhip?

Did she not know she was gay when she was getting her school for free? I mean the same laws apply.. but I guess she wasn't gay until AFTER she had her college paid for and actually had to work to pay us back..
