| Did Wanda really call the Messiah 'boy'? I didn't bother with the clips, just read the transcript.

| Funny, Bush gets roasted by Colbert, a noted liberal comic. Obama gets it easy, they shoulda let Dennis Miller have at it:) That would be even stevens, seems to me:) |

| She sounded like a caricature of a ghetto woman Aunt Esther Sykes. Very impressive, convinced me that racial stereotypes arent dead.

| Wow- Palin, Hannity, Limbaugh & Cheney must really be threats to the Democrats, the way she went on & on about them in that clip. And the President had some funny lines, but I found his delivery to be worse than George Bush's. The joke about Sasha & Malia was cute, but I saw it as flaunting the whole thing in the face of New Yorkers. Oh, & I don't think I've ever seen such racism at a White House Correspondent's Dinner before. And to think, it's not the Republicans who were the racist ones. And the First Lady laughed at the racist jokes, too. <snap>

| Ordinarily, I enjoy Wanda Sykes' sense of humor. This time I did not. Much of this was offensive. I also found the President's remark about Sasha and Malia being grounded for the "joyride" on the plane in New York to be in extremely poor taste. Proves to me that they "still" don't get it, even after sacrificing the staff member. Not good. Not good at all. |
