You know, my sister has sorta the same concept. She says we're borrowing from the taxpayers who will receive the benefits (the parent's job today, the better roads/infrastructure/world of tomorrow). Well, that's a laudible goal and all, but the people doing the work aren't going to wait until some time in the future for a paycheck as the money rolls in from future taxpayers. They want their money now. Someone is providing the money now.
And, whomever that is will have a great deal of hold over us until those future taxpayers pay it back....
