Mike Barnacle, Rush and Wanda...

...I don't often agree with him but, I do find him interesting. He just said that Wanda Sykes is proof, further proof, of huge media bias in this country because if Limbaugh said what she said, he'd be living in Europe by now, drummed out of the country by the media, and she gets a pass from the media.

I believe the brouhaha would be monumental, but I don't believe Rush would be drummed out of the country. Rush is an extremely wealthy man and he doesn't even have to work. Clear Channel might drop him, but he'd never leave the US or be run out on a rail.

But you're right about her getting a pass. The whole POINT of the damn dinner is to ROAST the POTUS. And the best she can do is talk about not finding any pictures of him smoking, his shirtlessness, etc. She spent more time trying to excoriate popular conservatives of the Republican party instead.

Sure, some of her jokey jokes were funny. But the Democrats & Liberals of this country, along with their sycophantic media have jumped the shark. AND, Ms. Wanda Sykes shows what a low-life, second rate comedienne she really is when she sold out & neglected to do the job that the headline comedian is supposed to do at that event.

You can't actually ridicule the President, no matter what color you are. That would be racist.

OK, forget the specifics, point being all hell would be raised.

Which is why this is noteworthy; Barnacle is NOT a GOP fan.

OH! Ok! (Sheesh - usually, you want specifics, details, and/or reasons for a point of view, etc.)

Yes, you're right. And I'd walk on broken glass to raise some hell over it myself.

Get used to it with the liberals in charge. They're always right and we're wrong.....for now. Someday it will turn around and the double standard will no longer be a standard.
