Obama and health care...

...consider; He is going to get THEM to address all our health care worries by CUTTING the RATE OF GROWTH of expenses by ONE POINT FIVE PERCENT per year and all will be well.

If that works for healthcare, how come it doesn't work for government?

Aren't we told that the government MUST spend money in order to keep people employed? How come the government can't simply cut the RATE OF GROWTH of spending a few % per year and thusly also be all better?

Aren't people going to be losing jobs and suffering if the health care folks reduce how much they gouge the economy by 1.5% a year? What will become of that 1.5%? Does it now go to caviar? Limousines?

What will become of them, the caviar and limo people, in this brave new economy?

Inquiring minds want to know.

I'm sure they're taking it all out of profit sharing, selfless lugs that they are.

Oh. Well, that would then explain why the gummint can't do this; there's no profits to share!

If they can turn their new car companies and banks around there should be plenty of profit.
Im still trying to figure out how they are going to seize the oil companies. you know its got to be coming.
maybe they can raise the price again, then tell the people that they need to take control of the oil so that we wont be screwed by the current CEOs with high prices. Of course they will forget to mention that we will be screwed worse with the government ownership.

Well you are right. If they can cut one they should be able to cut the other. Problem is it isn going to work. It isnt going to work for health care and it wont work for government. So far Obama's policy has been to borrow more money and if that isnt enough, simply print more money. Our boy Obama is a piece of work.
