OK, just checking. I'd think that running congress and winning the WH, twice, in the wake of the Clinton mess would be indicative of Bill's reign working out OK for the right.

It's just me, but I think the last 8 years are more so why we are where we are now than the 8 years prior to that.

It'll be interesting because her situation takes all the air out of the torch and pitchfork crowd over water boarding. If you believe, as some do, that it won't matter, that the left gets away with everything, I guess we'll see.

To me, this is a huge win for common sense; it drastically reduces the water boarding issues effectiveness. There are a whole bunch more Dems in Nancy's position who are, right now, whose names aren't yet associated with this, calling Rahm and wondering if it might not be best to let this go...while they still can.

Now that Nancy has been exposed as being just as dirty as anyone else I think you will see water boarding drop off the public agenda as an issue. In a month or two no one will even remember what water boarding is.

I think that is 100% right. The issue is dead.

Unless they truly are loons and are willing to throw her overboard, too. Hence the poll.

Personally, I hope the left refuses to let this go.

You forget the one thing the donks are great at; Ignoring the inconvenient truth (heh) and continuing to vilify their enemies after doing the same thing as long as they just deny it despite the evidence.

I remember an old movie from the 70's, I think it was a quirky Woody Allen movie or something like "all you ever needed to know about sex" or something.

This guy is in bed with a woman and they are all over each other. You hear a door close and a voice and a woman bursts through the door. The woman turns out to be the wife of the guy in bed. The woman in bed gets up and grabs her clothes and dashes out, the guy just stays there unfazed. The wife freaks and starts screaming, the guy ignores her. She is ranting and says things like "How could you do this!" he replies every time with something like "What? " or "I have no idea what you are talking about She keeps on; How could you screw that women? He replies "What woman?"

After he just lays there watching TV and nonchalantly denying everything the wife eventually starts to wonder if she actually was going crazy and did not just walk in on him and some other woman. End of the scene the wife is in bed with him.
