I remember an old movie from the 70's, I think it was a quirky Woody Allen movie or something like "all you ever needed to know about sex" or something.

This guy is in bed with a woman and they are all over each other. You hear a door close and a voice and a woman bursts through the door. The woman turns out to be the wife of the guy in bed. The woman in bed gets up and grabs her clothes and dashes out, the guy just stays there unfazed. The wife freaks and starts screaming, the guy ignores her. She is ranting and says things like "How could you do this!" he replies every time with something like "What? " or "I have no idea what you are talking about She keeps on; How could you screw that women? He replies "What woman?"

After he just lays there watching TV and nonchalantly denying everything the wife eventually starts to wonder if she actually was going crazy and did not just walk in on him and some other woman. End of the scene the wife is in bed with him.
Interesting analogy. If the goal is for the cheating to stop, it did. if the goal is for the husband to acknowledge the cheating, he never will.

That is exactly how I view the left; they will NEVER admit what they are doing wrong and, like the wife, it is the path to insanity if that is what you actually expect from them, so, them stopping, even if only temporary, is good enough for me. They WILL cheat again, so, you plan on fighting them again, getting them to stop again.

Vrail expressed 'so what' as regards to Clinton being impeached because there was no admission of guilt, no mea culpea, no taking responsibility, no stepping down. My view is that's never gonna happen. However, the GOP used it to set the agenda and do well for the nation even though he was still potus.

Same with Pelosi. We win this battle and should get ready for the next one. That's the problem with the GOP; they are not real fighters. They focus on the cheating and wanting them to take responsibility instead of whether or not it stopped for now.

I doubt Bill Clinton has spent one second worrying about being "impeached".

When you say "So what?' what are you looking for? Clinton was basically owned by the GOP for 6 years and it worked pretty good for the nation as a whole.
My was to this:

Clinton did not get impeached by the Democrats. He got impeached by the Republicans. The Democrats would have kept electing him to office if there were no term limits. Democrats do not hold their politicians to the same level of morality as Republicans. They are much more Machiavellian. The ends justify the means. So long as the pol is casting the Republicans as evil and screwing the Constitution and the American people while pandering to the far left, they will continue to be supported by their cohorts in office and the libtards that put them there.

Excellent analogy

"It's just sex."

That's what they do and the media lets them get away with it. Our national attention span is only so long, so if they deny deny deny and twist the story, we eventually grow tired of the subject and go, "Whatever." Then Anna Nicole or some other very important person dies, the news guys blow it up 24/7 and we forget what we were discussing beforehand.

So when will Pelosi suddenly support waterboarding?

I can't stand the current pile of shiat we have in Congress. They're a bigger joke than Bush.

And the sooner people accept that and stop wishing for them to be other than what they choose to be, the sooner we'll get better reps on our side.

She already did. Years ago.
