Obama is not ready for prime time, just like we were saying during the campaign. He's made mistake after mistake after mistake since he took office just a few short months ago. But his disciples will never say die - they will keep excusing him and spinning, blaming the Republicans for everything.

Why not be chatty? After the 8 years of savage treatment from the donks despite the fact he was instrumental in keeping America safe, and the on going savagery even after they won I would not be nearly as nice as Chenney is being.

Note I said 'earned' instead of 'won'.

Key word there. If someone says they are a conservative yet don't have the record to back it up, that's not earning it. If they say they are a 'Compassionate/friendly/nice/easy going conservative, that's not earning it.

Obama reverses on releasing detainee photos - Josh Gerstein - POLITICO.com

In a dramatic and high-profile reversal for his young administration, President Barack Obama is seeking to block the release of 44 photographs depicting abuse of detainees in U.S. military custody in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The Justice Department had already agreed to release the photos by May 28 in response to a lawsuit, but Obama is shifting course.

“Last week, the President met with his legal team and told them that he did not feel comfortable with the release of the DOD photos because he believes their release would endanger our troops, and because he believes that the national security implications of such a release have not been fully presented to the court,” said a White House official who asked not to be named.

Be nice if Cheney comes out and takes the side of the ACLU and says "release 'em, big guy."
