It is argued that the right ignored or set aside concerns about what the Bush administration was doing from 9/12/01 onward; the legalities, the wisdom of the choices, concerns of unintended consequences were set aside for the exigencies of the times. There is much truth there and all of it is worth going over and righting wrongs where prudent. However, to outlaw it? To prosecute? To criminalize? Well...

Today, Obama is doing many things that are WAY out of the letter and spirit of the law, taking over companies. Spending money madly. Shredding contract law. Reshaping the nation, the economy, our ways and means, in ways unthinkable before last fall.

It is said that the exigencies of the times require this.

Really.

I would like you folks on the left to think about whether you honestly care about right and wrong, regardless of the times or, is your view of right and wrong merely dependent on who is doing the wrong.

We on the right are dealing with it, the aftermath. You will too, when the passions cool and things calm down and Obama's choices are reviewed in hindsight.
