I believe I have and given the outcome of the past election and the state of the Republican party, vindicated in that truth also. It's a shame to see people so wrapped up into their own dogma that they would rather stick their head in the sand rather than own up to their own mistakes, learn from them or even open up to compromise or other avenues.

And before you throw more dogmatic horse !@#$ about the left and socialistic !@#$, I believe they are just as wrapped up in their own dogma to know any better also. It may behoove the sides to step back and take a good look at what is happening here. They will see that most of the country is more in the middle, support a little of both of the parties ideology and some that the parties don't even have a clue about.

Although George Washington respected the will of the people at the time, he did however voice his opposition to a two party system. Ironic, what he feared would happen has come to fruition. The parties have irreconcilably divided the country in two as he predicted.

"It serves to distract the Public Councils, and enfeeble the Public Administration....agitates the Community with ill-founded jealousies and false alarms; kindles the animosity of one....against another....it opens the door to foreign influence and corruption...thus the policy and the will of one country are subjected to the policy and will of another."

The bickering gets worse and worse and nothing is getting done by either party to resolve the countries issues. It's sad that that lesson hasn't been learned in the last 213 years and is a telling reflection on the two parties agendas.

If we believe the prophesies of the U.S. decline and the U.S. ceases to be a super power, the sad thing will be that each faction will be to busy pointing their fingers at each other, rather than come together with a plan to rectify it. Perhaps then the true voice of the American people will be heard.

Over dramatic? The proof is in the pudding already, just in the calls of succession to date and from elected public officials no less. If that's not a red flag, I don't know what else is. Hell, Obama hadn't even taken office before the accusations began flying. It's amazing how a person can run something to the ground before even laying a hand on it. It's the same story over and over, different President. But as time goes on the hatred just seems to get deeper, nastier and more dangerous.

And before I get the B.S. parade on authenticity, here is the link to George Washington's farewell address.

George Washington's Farewell Address

I think it would behoove everyone to deconstruct the parties and rebuild them from their core principles up. The problem is not that we have two parties, as it's reasonable to expect there to be at least two sides to any given issue; the problem is the two parties and their leaders being complacent, power drunk, and counting on the middle-of-the-roaders casting that "lesser evil" vote.

During his campaign The O promised to redistribute wealth and expand government. Shockingly enough, he is doing exactly that. During the campaign you could have asked a conservative critic, "How do you know what he will do?", but now he is doing it, so it's a little harder to scoff at the accusations.
