I do think she's just this stupid, personally.

But, I suspect it's being used by others to shield things we don't know about.

If this is a smoke screen, what are they trying to hide? Obama following Bush's policies? Biden's an idiot? The Dems have written checks that will take generations to cover? A defacto tax on everyone who uses electricity and drives a motor vehicle? I think the Dems are cringing over this, and Pelosi's stonewalling will just add fuel to the fire.

Hell if I know. I'm just trying to not accept what seems obvious as the ONLY answer.

They are getting bogged down in this stuff, making terrorists uncomfortable, and it can't help but mess up chances for socializing medicine and the rest of the economy along with cap and trade.

I don't see how it helps at this point.
