| I heard this on the news this morning -- really ticked me off! Those kindergartners would have been super-excited about going to the White House. Unbelievable that someone at the White House couldn't make some kind of arrangements for them to do the tour -- heck, they could have done a "two-fer" & seen the Steelers, too! That would have been a PR dream! Instead, we get crying 5 year-olds and PR nightmare with the White House again looking bad! Kinda makes ya think that no one actually read those l-o-n-g job applications that got filled out! GRRRRRR!!! |

| Maybe it was selective editing on the part of the news station but every kid and parent from Stafford County that were shown were quite pale skinned. The pictures of the Pittsburgh Steelers (in parallel with every pro team photo I've seen) was really devoid of non-African-American coloration. (How do we voice that the whites were shucked-and-jived while the N's weren't without sounding racist?) The truth is racially painful!

![]() Who started this thread? While you're trying to figure that out, you might find in your search, thread after thread after thread that that same person started criticizing liberals and liberalism including, predominantly, Obama. I'll assume you're joking.

If the ethnicities were reversed - had Bush turned away a bunch of non-white school children in favor of an all-white sports team - the screaming from the Left would have been deafening. It would have been front page fodder for weeks, and celebrities would have come out of the woodwork to proclaim Bush a racist. Reversing things is an excellent way to check your racism. Yesterday I passed a sign that said Lincoln (the city) would be celebrating "African-American Family Day" on such and such a date. Imagine the keening if anyone proposed a "Caucasian-American Family Day."
