No Class

Quote:
I've never thought much of Barack Obama's policies, and I'm starting not to think much of him as a human being. Today he continued his gratuitous and graceless attacks on his predecessor in the inappropriate context of Memorial Day:
Our fighting men and women - and the military families who love them - embody what is best in America. And we have a responsibility to serve all of them as well as they serve all of us.
And yet, all too often in recent years and decades, we, as a nation, have failed to live up to that responsibility. We have failed to give them the support they need or pay them the respect they deserve. That is a betrayal of the sacred trust that America has with all who wear - and all who have worn - the proud uniform of our country.
Barack Obama, the soldiers' friend! As Chris Stirewalt notes:
It gets little notice, but even to this day Bush makes calls on wounded veterans at military hospitals, corresponds with families of fallen servicemembers and gives his own money to veterans charities. In office, Bush hugely increased funding for veterans programs and worked relentlessly to improve the lot of ordinary troops.
It would be interesting to know how much of his own money Barack Obama has given to veterans' charities over the years. I'd hazard a guess: zero.
Obama's incessant attacks on the Bush administration tell us nothing about former President Bush, but a great deal about Barack Obama: the man has no class.
Power Line

The Prez is in over his head, as one would expect from one with so little experience. If he had made good choices regarding competent advisors, he might have had a chance. But he bungles routine problems daily and is lashing out due to his frustration.

Sorry pal, you wanted the job. At least stay classy (and Presidential).

Here Barry,..

try a few lines that you actually should be using now....ones that fit your abilities...
Let's begin:

"Sir, may I take your hat..."
"Brisk day isn't it ma'am?...may I take your coat..."
"Let me get the door for you sir...."
"I'll be glad to bring the luggage to your suite sir..."

Wow, all of that could be done without a teleprompter and that smile of his could actually get a few tips too.
and.......he would not be over his head.

You say Stay Classy, you have to have been classy to stay that way.

Obama has blamed everything since the sinking of the Lusitania on George Bush and he cannot make a speech without reference to it. The blame game is getting old. One of the biggest problems we hav in this country is a lack of checks and balances due to the fact that the Congress is Democrat and the president is Democrat.

Naturally they would work together, but lately some of Obama's projects even has this Pelosi-Reid driven mad house questioning him. We have seen what happened in the last 5 months, how much worse can it get for the next 3 1/2 years.?

Obama is a classless fool, he's wasting all his time trying to say how bad Bush was verse showing us how much better he is. Obama likes short cuts and lacks integrity. He'll one day soon (2012) will stand as a former President and I hope he gets a taste of his own medicine in MEGA doses...

I don't know why you would suggest that his abilities are limited to those of a doorman or bell hop. Think what we may of his ideology, he is no doubt an intelligent and capable person. I think insinuations to the contrary are silly, and reflect a state of denial.

It would be hard for me to disagree more than I do with many of his policies, and I believe that some of his goals are misguided, short-sighted, and dangerous - but that doesn't change the fact that he is intelligent and possesses many desirable skills. We shouldn't let our frustration over the situation cloud our judgment, or compromise our honesty to ourselves. An unwillingness to give ones adversary credit for that which they deserve credit for, makes defeating them all the more difficult.

If we admit that he is intelligent and smart and possesses desirable skills we have to admit that he isnt making mistakes, he is deliberately trying to destroy us.

I know I shouldn't laugh at those - but it was pretty good. And since he is obviously not experienced enough to be the president during such a tumultous period, perhaps your advice might assist him in a new career if his reign of disaster is hopefully terminated in 2012.
