So tell me how a bunch of moderates, that are supposedly conservative, voting for BO, out of disdain for the GOP, is doing the right thing?

'Tis true, 'tis true.

But obviously people WON'T do the right thing so why you keep up the pipe dream is beyond me.

"Here's some free ice cream. And here's some spinach that you'll have to pick yourself. Choose one!"

I know that most people are braindead idiots, which is why I can't get onboard with the Libertarians. If we'd let our chaff die off the way they're supposed to, we'd be a much better country. But all these do-gooders want to save the losers from themselves at the expense of the rest of us. It's a symptom of too much success - eventually we get so bored with being awesome that we have to screw it up.

Did I EVER suggest it was the right thing? Have I ever suggested Obama is anything other than a socialist, the most liberal potus we may have ever had?

You don't wanna accept disgust with Bush as anything other than media driven hysteria, fine. You don't wanna accept that Obama motivated people and McCain did not, fine.

PS: Moderates do not, as I read the poll, define themselves as conservative. They define themselves as moderates.

I am an optimist. You tend to be pessimistic. What's so hard about understanding that? There's plenty of good that people do and a celebrate it. There's plenty of bad and I object to that. You just don't expect as much good as I do.

I think we compromised for most of the Bush admin. You haven't had enough compromise? By all means. There will be another Bush/McCain type soon enough wooing you with promises of conservative government and intentions of just the opposite. They'll be counting on you!

Actually I've had enough hope and change. If "compromise" means that filthy dictator isn't in the White House anymore, give it to me, baybeee!

To send a complaint about the Obama 'ing at ABC use this link:

It is offensive they are not allowing an opposing point of view.

You've stated that voters were fed up with Bush and McCain and the GOP. That's why the GOP lost and the democrats won. I understand the hatred for a growing, left-leaning GOP. I fail to understand how this gets solved by electing THE MOST LIBERAL CONGRESS AND PRESIDENT in our nation's history fixes that. You've bought Earnie Ball string from a certain music store forever. Then suddenly they stop selling them. In your disgust you got to another store and buy Fender strings.

But wouldn't you agree those moderates voted for BO and put a very liberal democrat congress in power? If so, you wouldn't define them as moderates would you? I mean given the numbers, if they were moderate, and McCain is a moderate, McCain should have won even without the conservative vote.
