Then suddenly they stop selling them. In your disgust you got to another store and buy Fender strings.

But wouldn't you agree those moderates voted for BO and put a very liberal democrat congress in power? If so, you wouldn't define them as moderates would you? I mean given the numbers, if they were moderate, and McCain is a moderate, McCain should have won even without the conservative vote.
I have said this, time and time again; It gets fixed by NO LONGER rewarding poor performance. I gets fixed by the GOP facing the music and recognizing that going left did not work, resulted in the current situation and, thus, needs right leaning policy and candidates to earn back the affections of the voters.

McCain wins, I think the Dems solidify control of congress. Obama wins, I think the GOP has a shot, IF THEY GO HARD RIGHT, to earn back some seats.

I would MUCH rather have a GOP congress and Obama than McCain and a Dem congress. Ergo, I am OK with Obama making a mess of things in order to get to a better tomorrow.

I have been consistent on that, time and again. That doesn't mean you have to like it.

The only seats that change, year in and year out, barring an assistant being murdered, are the moderate seats. Barney Frank isn't going to lose nor is Ron Paul.

I’m not asking how we fix this in the future. I’m asking how voters in this past election were attempting to fix rampant liberalism with even more, deeper liberalism. I agree with you how this gets resolved in the future. But given the trend of recent past elections things are not moving in that direction. People seem to be voting too emotionally rather than logically and according to their core beliefs.

And I keep saying I hope you’re right about this. But they have a tough fight against incumbency and a left-wing MSM. I’m just not seeing a constituency that is as far right as you claim they are. But I want you to prove me wrong.

You must’ve missed it when I’ve stated the same thing back before the election. I knew BO was going to win and I knew our only hope was to regain congress. I knew my vote for any candidate other than BO didn’t really matter. You can make a president lame but not a congress. But this didn’t happen. Instead, the dems increased their majority and they took more governorships and mayorships across the country. I just don’t see how this happens with a country that is vastly more conservative.

And for the record I like your consistency. You're consistently wrong.

Good Lord man, you are under no obligation to agree with a single thing I say! You're a conservative. You voted for the person you thought best for your vote. So did I.

Okay, so what does that have to do with what you quoted me on? But thank you for at least recognizing I am a conservative.

The GOP is getting NOWHERE unless and until the party and the rank and file, as a whole, are agreed what went wrong, governing too far left, and are agreed that, obviously, the solution is candidates that have a record of being more right leaning. That is NOT happening and it's ALL your fault because McCain and the other 'we gotta go left!!' folks and Bush die hards in the GOP have tremendous power.

They all think, incredibly, that we need to be more like Obama. If you'll recall, there was little of that in regards to beating Bubba by winning back congress. We're lost right now.

Point being I keep saying the same thing, over and over, and you keep having some objection or other. And you only claim to be a conservative. Until I hear that George Will voted for McCain, you are suspect.

Anyone who claims to be a conservative and voted for a RINO and is a resident of Maryland ought to be defensive about this. Your voted could have helped reject RINO'ism. That you claim to have KNOWN Obama would win, nationwide, makes it even worse.

For shame.

Gee, I don't know why they'd think something dumb like that. Maybe it's all the adoration being heaped on him by the media and his loyal fans?

Face it - Socialism is here and it's not going anywhere. It will get infinitely worse, until we don't even recognize our country anymore. But we'll be able to tell our grandkids how things used to be, because they sure won't learn it in any government filtered schoolbook.
