From what I've read and am hearing is the majority of Americans are NOT for this plan. But Obama's, (not to mention Pelosi, Hoyer, et. al.) out there trying to say we/they are.

The poll states the MAJORITY 71% don't want Obama's health plan.. 29% do..

The loads in this country who believe everything is free.

Fact There is nothing in this country that is free not even our air as we outlaw CO2. Nothing is free , SOMEBODY is paying.

It may be free to some welfare load or some immigrant, but someone is paying.

From what I understand, HSA, or Health Spending Accounts, would be banned under this package. WTH would they do that? I just got signed up for one, and it seems to be a great deal. And one that encourages me to spend my health care dollars wisely.

You're not smart enough or capable enough to take care of your health OR your finances.. but Boxer and Feinstein? They are geniuses, and will ensure you are taken care of JUST like they want you to be.

You won't need savings of ANY kind.. as they'll provide for you when you're old, as long as you don't get older than is economically viable...

Ah, ok. That's what I thought you meant at first. It was late when I read the last post.

And so even though polls are saying otherwise - Obama goes on TV Friday to say now is not the time to slow down because they have the support of the American people

An article I read this morning put it this way - that generally, on Fridays, the news cycle is slow- so that's a good time to "bury" bad info, scandals, etc. But the opposite is also true - that since the news cycle is slow - then Obama was using that to his advantage & made his "healthcare NOW" message the only thing in the news.

And then I'm thinking as I read the article - but then what happened? Walter Cronkite died. On a FRIDAY. So last night all I saw on cable news was Walter, Walter, Walter.

Inasmuch as he was inarguably a news icon, and I watched him as did others during some of the major events of our lifetime, I wasn't a fan of his liberal views in his later years of life.

However, I hope they keep it up all weekend until & including his funeral. The longer Walter is on the news - the longer OBAMA, Pelosi, Hoyer, & healthcare NOW ISN'T!

I heard that, too. I haven't really found the actual language in the bill on it, and haven't had the time to reasearch it. Can you point me to it?
