if you are agianst it, you are against it all the time. if you are for it, you are for it all the time. there are a good deal of people that would agree to abortion (very early term) in cases of rape, incest or real health threat to the mother. Yet, those same people would be against abortion simply for the reason of birth control after a careless night of bumping uglies in a drunken stupor.

Most people I know who are pro-choice are, at some level, agreed that it's not the preferred means of birth control. They'd rather people use better means of contraception. Admittedly, most people I know who are 'against abortion' are against its use all the time, but they're all over the page regarding contraception.

Problem is, the pro-life people are arguing against only one of the 'whatever' options are are painted as malignant and restrictive.

| Strung Out | Pro life and pro death. Abortion is the most barbaric, ghoulish thing we, people, do. It is nothing short of murder of the most innocent and most helpless we have. However, in a free land, you can not make someone want or care for their child. It is up to them. Wanna get rid of it, best to get on with it. It ain't gonna get any easier or less ugly.

| And we have a winnah! ![]() That just needed to be reposted. Anyone in doubt can see just how savage it is by searching for abortion photos on the web. If you've never seen the pictures before, prepare to be apalled.

| Strung Out | Right. However, in a free society, you can NOT make a woman want or care for her baby. You can promote it. It can be argued for. But, it should not, in my view, be a matter of law. It HAS to be up to her.
