Town Hall Meeting

I'm demanding a Town Hall Meeting.

We all have voices here in St. Mary's that need to be heard with you Mr. Hoyer.

I voted you in thinking you cared about the people.

Do you have a problem listening to the voices of your constituents?

If you don't think you have the time, let your people know as we will vote
you out next go around. I have another in mind...

He has no reason to do it. He knows that if he remains silent, his loyal supporters will re-elect him. If he speaks publicly, the only thing he could do would be to hurt himself.

He doesn't care about our opinions - he only cares about getting re-elected, and there are enough stupid people that he's a shoo in.

After he got ambushed at this one I doubt he is in a hurry to face down another angry bunch of taxpayers.

Although I like your thinking emailing Steny Hoyer is a waste of time and electricity.

What we need is about 2,000 people standing in front of his driveway when he comes home. I wish I knew how to organise such an event. He lives right here in St Mary's County .

I emailed him, fwiw. Short, sweet and polite.

The real problem is that Steny is no longer a 'representative'. He has to back this due to his leadership position. Your opinion is inconsequential.

A leadership position doesnt necessarily mean he is a leader.

In fact he is a follower, being led around on Nancy Pelosi's leash.

If he were a real leader he would at least read this bill.Anyone who reads it can see what it is and lead others away from it. Steny is more worried about his position and title and power in the party than about the Americans he supposedly epresents. He is a Judas goat. Leading Lefty lambs to a slaughter, while the rest of us see the butcher and protest.

I agree. And to answer you question...emailing him did no good. He doesn't care what we the people think.
