And that right there tells me that you've either never listened to Limbaugh or Beck, or you are an incredibly extreme Leftwinger.

But you can feel free to correct me. What exactly do Limbaugh and Beck say that is extreme right wing and hateful? I'd like a specific example, please, and not a generality.

So if Bush spending us into a deficit was bad, how do you feel about Obama creating a deficit bigger than the budget of all past administrations combined?
Your just as bad as the Obama Administration, blaming everything that is wrong with the country to the opposing party. The Republican's dominated for six years before the Dems took majority and had the majority within the Clinton administration.

The hypocrisy.....please.....

Simple. The monies were thrown in savings instead of paying some of the bills. A lot of people do it.....you know....put money in savings despite the bills due and pay them at a comfortable pace. Bush instead of paying the bills, blew it.

As I said, you can argue until your blue in the face. What the average American has in the consciousness is that there was a surplus and a Dem was in the White House at the time. It doesn't matter how it got there. The Republican fairy's could have donated it the country. In their minds it doesn't matter.

Yes, I have watched Glenn Beck. I don't like him. Never have, even when he was on CNN. It's not for the lack of trying, my brother loves him and continuously tries to bend my mind to him. I just don't like him.

You don't have to like him. But I am still waiting for you to tell me what is so extreme right wing and hateful about him, and cite examples.

However now you can take your time and google google google because I have some work to take care of.

Uhmmmm! Don't you read? What you or I think doesn't matter. Fact is that the surplus was there on Clinton's watch. Therefore he owns it. Right, wrong or indifferent....that is the public perception. That is what I am saying.

You may not agree, but it is.
Then I am telling you, you flat out have NO clue what right wing is if you think Limbaugh, Mr. GOP himself, is extreme right wing.

So, how about an example of Limbaugh extremism?

Sorry Alexa - your supposition isn't holding up to reality.
Reality? How can anyone have a clear grip of reality when they won't venture out of their own glass house? If I were to submerge myself in Limbaugh, Beck, forums and blogs such as this that only provide one view of the world, then of course that would be my reality. Doesn't make it so.

His point is that a third party is doom for the right and that, at the end of the day, the battle is to take back the GOP, not leave it.

I would argue that Limbaugh is stating, by definition, conservatism can not stand on it's own and has NO appeal to moderates and independents.

I would argue that there are so many people in this nation just flat out disgusted with both parties that there is MORE than enough support for a conservative party. A party that is pro individual liberty AND responsibility, for smaller, better government, for less taxes, less foreign interventionism (no neocons need apply) pro energy independence, pro simple tax, pro strong national defense, anti corporate bailouts, pro small business, anti socialist and against the DH rule.

So, what say you, people?
Rush and Hannity showed they are no different than the Democrats they ridicule, when he (Rush) threw out every negative comment or objection, he made about John McCain out the window just to follow the party line.

Not only did they forget their past criticisms about McCain, they did a complete 180 on him by not using the same logic about McCains past as they did with Obama's
