Chris Mathews is THE man!

He is, this evening, acknowledging his belief that JFK was killed by Oswald alone, which is true, and that Oswald was a left wing nut, communist sympathizer and Castro worshiper, which is also true.

Then, now follow me here, he discusses the 'atmosphere' of right wing hatred and anger and displeasure with JFK at the time and that they, this 'atmosphere' is why Oswald, a lefty mind you, assassinated a president some right wingers thought was...a lefty, a communist.

He does this with a straight face.

Is that the same irony where Nancy Pelosi refers to the protesters with Swastikas as racist but the protesters are actually comparing Pelosi/Obama with the krauts overhaul and takeover of the government? They are both socialists after all.....

I don't particularly care for discussion of assassination with regard to a sitting president. Even if it's Obama. I think it's irresponsible for Chris Matthews to even suggest such a thing. It would be a tragedy if our president were killed, and not just because Joe Biden would become the new guy.

There's a part of me that thinks the Left does want him to take a bullet, because then they could riot with cause and Obama would be a martyr for eternity. A failed president becomes a legend in seconds.

That sort of stuff is abhorrent to me. Stay healthy, Barack!!!!

Hey, if Nancy Pelosi can talk about moving her to second-in-line-for-the-Presidency, I think Chris (I get a thrill up the inside of my thigh) Matthews can do the same.

Ever since two people, out of millions, open carried weapons to recent political gatherings, Chris has been obsessing about it, constantly focusing on the danger he sees and our history of losing political figures. He even had a guest point out that folks open carrying are not your Hinckley's, your Oswald's, your Sirhan's.

I so wanted the guy to take the next step that the people you gotta worry about are the obsessive who place great emotional value in famous strangers and who see bogeymen everywhere.
