Dick Durbin...

..just said that he'd be for increased competition in health insurance by opening up the state monopolies IF there was a national standard.

He then said that tort law is traditional a state issue and there can't be a national standard on medical tort reform.

And the crew at Morning Joe didn't say a word.

Durbin - a lawyer - against TORT reform? Imagine that.

That's not of note. What is of note was how blatantly inconsistent he was and in back to back points. And I'm annoyed that Joe just let it go.

Joe is immensely outnumbered. He needs to get out of NBC if he's to ever have his real voice. He has to deal with those thugs when he gets off the air. I can't imagine what it's like for him to have to crawl back to his room when the show is over.

How so?

Miki is pretty neutral and certainly not overtly left wing. Willie is neutral and certainly not overly left wing. Barnicle is left but not bad.

You should listen to Joe on WMAL (if you haven't). It seems like a completely different person.

Must be. It's the only time I hear him - I've never watched his show.
