You don't think that's a good idea?

Why do you hate children? And America?

I agree when it comes to physical abuse and substance abuse cases. Drunken crackhead parents produce some real jacked up kids who perpetuate the cycle of poverty and crime. However, overfed overindulged fat kids might be unhealthy but rarely turn out to be violent sociopathic criminals who terrorize our streets.

..... so my son stayed at his friend's house this weekend, he was told that he could have a cupcake for breakfast, yep, a cup cake, you'd think he'd jump at the chance..... NAH, he had an apple and a granola bar, his friend's grandma chased him around the house with the cupcakes saying, "no, it's ok, you can have one, really!".....

He doesn't always eat this way though.

If they could get someone else to do it for them, they would. So let's not excuse them quite so quickly.

Well it would be a good way for our lower classes to abdicate even more responsibility to the state. They can just go visit their kids at the state run home and not have to take any responsibility at all for their care and upbringing. They already don't have to work or worry about food or housing since uncle sugar provides for all their needs and they can go about their drinking and breeding without the inconvenience of a job.

I disagree to some extent. I think the sociopolitical entitled mindset comes from spoiled ass brats. They're not any less screwed up just a different kind of screwed up. Family money can play a HUGE part in keeping them out of trouble. Its quite disturbing if you think about it, you know better than to walk through the ghetto at night by yourself because of the products of broken childhood walking the street but you're a whole lot less inclined to think about how someone was raised when they are your social equal until your kid gets molested or you hear on the news someone offed their whole family.

My mom is like that. My oldest doesn't like many sweets so I'm fortunate in that regard. The youngest would have eaten it and asked for another.

vs. a store bought cupcake with high fructose corn syrup?

Plus the fiber, the protein and all the good fuel that he would burn when he runs around outside.... I say it wouldn't bog him down like a cupcake and perhaps he knew that he wouldn't feel so blah by eating that way.
