Plus the fiber, the protein and all the good fuel that he would burn when he runs around outside.... I say it wouldn't bog him down like a cupcake and perhaps he knew that he wouldn't feel so blah by eating that way.
A good mother would feed her children low fat cottage cheese with a bit of citrus and a slice of dry whole wheat toast for breakfast. Anything else might as well be a cupcake.

Soda is too acidic and destroys tooth enamel. He should drink water.

Good thing refrigerator waffle-squirt can pancake-hamburger helper Pete isn't a mother.

Plus a granola bar tastes better than a spongy store bought cupcake with greasy shortening frosting My kids won't eat cupcakes, they pick at them and abandon them every time. Other than ice cream they don't seem to care for sweets thankfully. I never buy it so they don't seem to have developed a taste for it. When we were on vacation they wouldn't even eat Froot Loops or Lucky Charms with their cousins! The only junk they really enjoy are McDonalds fries which I'm pretty sure my son would sell his little soul for.

Diet water typically contains Splenda and Splenda shrinks the small intestine.
