Again, I say 'Term Limits' either Congressionally imposed or imposed by the people! Vote out all incombants next period. To many states have politicians for life in office and they know they can get away with whatever they want.

I realize they keep changing the rules - but until the 17th Amendment, senators were always selected by the legislature. The amendment allows for governors to make appointments until a special election can be held. That is the way it is SUPPOSED to work.

The only disturbing thing about this is that they've changed the rules a few times, but as I see it, they're going about this they way it was intended to be done.
